Refreshing the homepage experience for SonderMind

Finding a therapist should be neither a marathon nor scavenger hunt, but a guided path of clarity and comfort. Here’s how I reimagined SonderMind’s homepage to be just that.

Forging a clear path to care

Strategic discovery within constraints

In a focused, 3‑week sprint, I conducted stakeholder interviews, reviewed analytics, and surfaced crucial pain points: unclear CTAs, passive tone, mobile friction, and outdated brand expression.

From there, I grounded the brand’s evolution in real user needs, personas, and editorial visual exploration, all while navigating CMS limitations and technical constraints.

Designed for real life

Through carefully crafted flows and mobile-first design, we met users where they were and guided them with empathy and clarity.

I developed three visual and UX directions balancing warmth, clarity, and trust, then refined the chosen concept through iterative stakeholder workshops.

Key deliverables included enhanced information hierarchy, updated tone of voice, responsive wireframes, and polished UI aligned with brand evolution.

Deliverables were delivered via stakeholder presentations, multiple rounds of feedback, and thoughtful handoff to the engineering team.

Results that blew us away*

Following the launch, A/B testing confirmed massive wins:

  • 151% boost in conversions

  • 58% increase in bookings

  • higher return-visitor conversion

The success of this experiment led to a fast-tracked 100% rollout of the new design, paving the way for further redesign and brand transformation down the road 🎉
