Translating energy into identity
Sunday Runday LA was founded in 2023 as a passionate runner's dream of making running more accessible, authentic, and local. Coincidentally, I moved to LA shortly after, and it became the first community there that felt like home.
The run club was growing quickly, but without a strong online presence, it lacked the identity and structure to match its momentum. So when Dom, the founder, approached me with this opportunity, I knew I wanted to give this community a home just as it did for me.
I had the honor of helping the community translated that energy into a brand and website that makes it easy for anyone to find events, stay motivated, and connect with fellow runners.

From idea to concept
Starting with detailed founder interviews, I sketched logo concepts and visual directions that distilled the club’s spirit into a clean, elevated brand system that was rooted in accessibility, confidence, and the joy of motion.

Designed for runners, by runners
As something of a runner myself, I shaped the site with wireframes that prioritize what runners actually need: easy access to events, info hierarchy, and mobile-first clarity.
Then, I brought it to life through vibrant, on-brand visuals that feel as energized as the community itself.

Sparking ongoing momentum
After we launched the brand, the impact was evident: the run club finally had an online home, a cohesive and recognizable presence, and exciting partnerships and event presence. Here are a some of the results:
200% surge in social engagement
1.5K site visitors in the first month
Partnerships with New Balance and presence at LA Marathon + The Speed Project
